Cheryl Started Her Career in Dog Grooming In 1997 as an apprentice for Richard Barker one of the UK's Top Dog groomers of his Time. It was a Work Experience Placement from college that got Cheryl hooked on dog grooming and from there she was offered a job and trained while she worked.

After 8 year Cheryl decided it was time she stood on her own two feet and decided to open Le Chien in 2005.

Many of Le Chien's clients have watched Cheryl progress from a young business owner and then become a mother to her 2 children Jessica and Bobby and her Eldest Step Daughter Daisy.

Cheryls achievements have gone from strength to strength as she entered the world of Dog Grooming Competitions.

Winning Several 1st places and Best groomer in Show In the UK and in Europe Has Lead to her biggest Career achievement to date when she was selected as 1 of 4 members of Groom Team England in 2018 and again in 2020.

She has some heavily decorated Trophy Cabinets on display in the Salon. 

Cheryl Keenly Encourages her Staff to Compete along with her at these events up and down the country .

When Cheryl is not working she spends her time with her family enjoying her children and Showing her dogs. Cheryl Owns 'Clouseau' a Standard Poodle And 'Gin' a Kerry Blue Terrier.
